Hi All,

I'm having problems with my mitsi galant 1990 2.0l limited edition sohc. I bought it with the professional knowledge that it had a blown head gasket (they must have put it under a pressure test. It is using water and had creamy oil on the tapets/under valve cover. I stripped it down and removed the head. No evidence of a leaky head gasket, it looks like its in perfect working order. Could you guys throw some ideas of how the water is getting into the engine if its not my head gasket?

Does it have an engine oil cooler?

 

check out the cooling system and see if there is no leak coming from the bottom of the cylinder where the coolant is used.

 

look for a cracked block.
