Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any assistance.

The problem started once my stereo was replaced but stereo shop says it was unrelated.

The dashboard light is out and when I replace the fuse, the fuse blows immediately. The rear driver side running lights also do not work but the blinkers and brake lights work.

How do i determine if it is a short or the relay under the dashboard area? Also, is there any other possible troubleshooting needed or ways of fixing this?

Thank you again and please assist as I cannot drive my car at night now as I have been pulled over a few times by the police.

 

Did u ask how is it unrelated?
I don't think it's a relay.. It's a short your car has
that was left by that incompetant Stereo Shop
they didn't know what they were doing.

I had the same problem with my car because of my
After market stereo that was replaced, my speedometer
didnt work. But I got it fixed.

 

We had an after market stereo installed and now our speedometer wont work. What is wrong? Replaced the speed sensor, checked fuses, clusters..everything checked out ok. What could it be?
