I have a 2001 galant gtz and im putting in a headunit.. i kno i have to bypass the amp but does anyone have the wiring diagram and know how to do it?

 

Do you have 3 RCA output pins in head unit ? if so, you will be well off and you can use the amplifier... ( Else your head unit is not compatible)either wayplease search this site again, there is a link to the wiring diagram.

I also have a 2001 galant GTZ and i put in a head unit. I put in a pioneer head unit. I was told at circuit city that it wasnt possible w/o an extra wiring harness to bypass the amp , and best buy said it would cost extra. But then i went to a local shop and all they did was connect the cable and put in the head unit. Before they put it in i asked them about a wiring harness to bypass the amp and they said that u dont need one.
