Default 2002 Spark plug location

Just had plugs and plug wires installed. Thought I'd check them out when I got home to make sure I really did have new wires. Believe it or not, I cannot even see where they are or where the plugs are! Are they under a cover of some sort or just in an out of the way place? I have always changed my own plugs and wires in my older cars but I can not for the life of me find these things. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Nick.

If you actually did replace the spark plugs and wires on your own on your previous cars, then how can you not find where they are on this car? Have you tryed looking in your owners manual?

It's easier than you might think. Used to change them in my older Mustangs and Jeeps and used to work on aircraft engines back in the day. Easy to see where they were and the wires/boots that went to them. Not so easy on the Galant. Looks like a stiff straight wire going across 4 posts? Are the plugs under these posts? Nothing on them in the owners manual either.

If you've got the 2.4 liter 4 cyl then they are right on top of the valve cover. I know what you mean though, I was looking to the side at first till DUH. It's not visually obvious as 2 of them are kind of concealed but 2 10 mm bolts give easy access. I changed my plugs yesterday. Very easy. Be glad you don't have a VW...

You have 2 wires and 2 coil packs. There right on top of your valve cover. Real easy thing to replace but could cost alot of money. how much did you spend for it if you dont mind me askin. I have a 2000 and thinkin of having it done
