Default 2004 A/C clicking on/off after condensor replaced

My 2004 Galant A/C condensor was replaced the other day and now there is this loud constant clicking(about every 7 seconds).

When waiting at a red light, you hear the click, the rpms drop about 300-400 rpms to below 500rpms, the car almost stalls and then the rpms go up to normal, then it happens again and again and again.

It doesn't happen when the a/c is off.

It didn't happen before the condensor was replaced. Before the condensor was replaced it was a much quieter click and happened every 20-30 seconds with an rpm drop of about 50rms.

I checked it with the hood up today and the fan on the left is always spinning(on) when the clicking happens. If I remember correctly in the past the fan on the left was coming on and off in sync with the click.

i would bet my last dollar that the shop that did your repairs overcharged the a/c system. the pressures get too high when the a/c system is on and will cycle on and off due to the pressures bieng too high due to too much freon. pressure switch is doing its job. need to bring it back and have them fix that for free.

Actually the freon was low. Just at the minimum. I added about 1/2 a can.
Also the clicking is about every 3 seconds not 5. Same problem after adding freon. Happens at all fan speeds and a/c temp. A/C fan always on.
