got a 2005 galant 4 cylinders that i bought damage on the left front of the car.
have replace the parts and the compleet wiring harness of the engine with new computer.

but i can not start the car, the X431 launch computer tells me the following problem.
P0630 vin not programmed
P0513 immobilizer system

now i got the car to the dealer here and got the vin number programmed , but they told me that i need to buy a match immobilizer that match the serie number of the new ECU for them to code it.....

is this true????

the engine is turning but wil not kick on, no spark at all

you should be able to reprogram the keys, as the immobilizer will no longer recognize the keys after you replaced the PCM.

You only needed to replace the immobilizer with the PCM on pre-2001 cars. The new immobilizers will learn to communicate with the new PCM if everything is programmed.

 

i have a 2001 galant. son lost keys. 2 different locksmiths have looked at it and cannot program new key to the car..???.their programmer shows error only..
