Default 93 Galant Starting Problems

My daughters 93 Galant ES 2.0L has 114'000 miles on it. The tranny was rebuilt, new rack & pinion, new Transmission computer, new fuel filter, New cheap Walmart battery!, new belts, new alternator, & new timing Belt.
Now the problem; Some days the car would start right up, Some days not at all. Eventually it would not start at all. The engine would crank but just would not start.
I had a Mechanic check it out and he told me the Distributer was bad. So I replaced the distributer and installed a new rotor. Charged the battery up and it started right up. So far so good. The next morning I drove her car to work and it ran just fine. 6:00pm that night the car would not start. It would turn over but it would not start, I checked all the electrical connections, everthing seemed ok. So I got a ride home, loaded my tools in my truck and got back to work at about 9:00pm. By then the batttery was run down from trying to start it earlier, so I put some jumper cables on it and guess what, it started right up. and I drove it home. Once I got it in the driveway at home I shut it off and it started right up again. What should I check next? Could it just be a bad battery?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try checking if the fuel is reaching the enigne and if not check the fuel pump.
