Like the title said, I like to know if there is a separate Transmission Control Unit in the car to control the transmission like that of an Eclipse. I could not find the TCU anywhere in the Galant. I found the ECU behind the radio but not the TCU or is there just the ECU that controls both. Any help is much appreciated.

95 galant TCU is DIRECTLY UNDER THE ECU. on the floor directly behind the radio.
