hey, my galant check engine light has been on. took it to two different shops to diagnose it and they both came back telling me my computer was falsely reporting a transmission fluid temperature sensor error. they checked my fluid temp and it was normal. they checked the sensor and it was reporting as it should be. so firestone told me i need to take it to the dealership and have it reprogrammed or replaced because mitsubishi was one of the few computers he couldn't reprogram.
does anybody know ball park how much it would be at a dealership??
does anybody know a place (i live in oregon) that can reprogram my computer??

also i seen (if need be) a cardone reman/engine control computer at autozone, does anybody know if dealerships install costumer supplied parts??
