i have been trying to find aftermarket performance parts for my 03 galant and have come up against a brick wall. most of what i find is questionable on reliabilty or it costs and arm and a leg to purchase. if any one has any info on where to find performance parts for my car i would appreciate the input. i am looking for suspension for the most part and would not like to have it fabricated due to the cost.

 

kyb makes good adjustable struts for your car. eibach pro-kit lowering springs are great. look on ebay, theres alot of stuff on there. they make cat-back exhaust systems for the 99-03 galant, i think mehgans racing makes a kit i saw on ebay.
weapon-r makes awesome intake systems that work really good. obx makes headers for the galant (part# H9999)and so does weapon-r. (any headers made for 99 eclipse will work for your car). you just have to look, not alot of people do up their galants, it took me a long time to find stuff for my 98. over all the best place to look is ebay. stay away from the "performance chips" they sell for 20-50 bucks, theyre no good. on the other hand Jet makes a performance module to reconfigure your ecu after you add intake and exhaust. they custom make the program to what you have in your car to make it run at optimum performance. Also, if you want to do it right and put good stuff in your car it's not going to be cheap. I have a ram air system in my 98 that cost me over 300, but it added about 25horse so it was worth it.

 

your information is wrong. The 1999-2003 8G Galant is the same as the 2000-2005 Eclipse so that would exclude anything made for the 1999 Eclipse.

Also it has been my standing opinion that anything made by Weapon R sucks.....
