Default Bearing change – front

Is it difficult/time consuming to change the left front bearing? Galant G8, 2l, GLX, year 1998. Any special tools required? Briefly looking/reading in Haynes it does not seem that difficult….. Even though I’m quite used to do maintenance on elderly cars, I’ve never changed the bearing on a front wheel drive – and Galant is also pretty new to me. Any hints highly appreciated. Thanks.

pretty simple to do. car needs to be off the ground, remove the brake caliper and rotor, take off the axle nut and move the axle back as far as it can go, there are 4 14mm bolts that hold it to the knuckle, take those out and it will fall out.
