Hey! I'm new here like you see. I'm afraid i'll have some problems with car-terms in english, me being norwegian.

I recently baught my secound mitsubishi, the first was a carisma, the new one is a galant 95 1,8 gdi.

I have the problem that the car stops when revving down, like when i'm slowing down before an intersection, clutching and relesing the gas. The RPM seems to go too far down, and the car sometimes dies, sometimes manages to work itself up again to normal (whatever the word is fo when it goes without giving it gas). When you start the car it runs smoothly, it seems to run smootly all along. It's just this problem when first having some revs then releasing the gas. Also happens when reversing etc, and sometimes when just revving it when standing still. Seems to mostly happen when the engine is warm, but i'm not too sure about this.

To try and fix it, i've changed the air filter, spark plugs, had a mechanic check the cables for the spark plugs and the compression. Nothing seems to work. Do you have any tips?
