Own a 2000 2.4L Galant with 60k miles. Last year the heater core went and this year the radiator had to be replaced. Change the radiator fluid every other year. I think the water pump is next but will get it changed when the timing belt is done. Any one have deterioration in the cooling sysem caused by acidic(?) coolant?
