My 2000 Galant with electric door locks will unlock, but not lock from the door controls. Key FOB does not lock or unlock. Funny thing is if I try to lock with door switch it will lock for about 1 or 2 seconds then automattically unlocks all the door. It will not even lock with the key, key will not turn to lock the door. Only clue is this started after I disconnected the battery. I am hoping this is not permanent damage, but some kind of wierd mode it got set to, manual says nothing (my Honda for insatnce the manual does mention door lock modes).
