hi there guys

My pops has a galant GLSI 1990
when engine is hot or running after a while , it just stop , engine shuts off.
When the engine cools down then Im able to get the engine running again, and the cycle starts again.
I changed the ignition coil but that hasnt helped.

any ideas guys?

hii had the same model with the 2.0cc engine that sounds like your pops is doing the same as mine did.i could drive a long sometimes it would cut out then restart (this was quite violent) and sometimes it would just cut out after about 15-20 mins it would start ok.this did get to do this more and more.i turned out to be a capasitor in the E.C.U. since then i have heared of others doing the same.my main mitsubishi dealer could not find the fault it was only trial and error hope this helps and good luck pete

 

borrow an ecu from a friend and check to see if it works before you go out and buy one
