Cranks up but Shuts off

I have a 1995 Eclipse Gst 2.0L and it will crank up and run for approximately 3 sec and then it will shut off. I know it is not the turbo timer because i have it set at 2 min. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong???

make sure the throttle plate is opening properly......... test your maf...........
