Faulty cig lighter & Accessory outlets. Both are not working! Checked the fuse and it is ok. Now what???? Any help would be appreciated for my 1999 Mitsubishi Galant. Both outlets are on the center panel not the ashtray.

perhaps the wires came loose that go to the back of the plugs?

first pop off the trim around the shifter and that will give access to pull out the piece that has the ashtray and the plugs
to do so first remove the ashtray and then lift from the bottom of that area, you will even see a little handle looking like thing to get a grip on
