Hi
i have a GALANT 2003 2.0L Automatic
for some resone i dont know yet - the gear some time "Bangs" [Clicks]
causing the car to "Jump"
like it doesnt sync with the clutch and when it lowers gear or goes to
over drive it bangs .

it mostly happen when i apply Gas then release then apply again it's like it hesitates
and when it shifts it bangs and clicks jumps .
its really annoying - could this be a Mitsubishi Gear/trasmition known problem weakness?
or maybe it a computer problem ?
maybe its not just a galant probelm ?

pls tell me if you know of such a problem or know what to di to fix it .
the car is still in manufacture warenty .

maybe what you may need to do is check the fluid level, or bring your vehicle into the dealer. i am learning mitsu's my dayum self.

Iam having the same problem with 97 galant 2.4L ...........133K
were you able to solve the issue. Coz I rebuilt the tranny and changed 2 mounting still the same problem.

Any suggestion to solve it.
