Hi, my Galant 2003 (ES 4 Cyl) was driving perfectly, but when i was leaving my work it didn't start anymore. It would just make one snapping noise, and that's all.

I took it to my mechanic that changed the starter and the battery's cable and terminals (I bought a new battery 3 months ago). But the car still have the same problem. Eventually it does turn on and drives fine, but as it is the car is 100% unreliable.

I don't understand nothing about cars and my mechanic said this is an electric problem and recommended me an electric mechanic.

Im taking there today, but since i have no clue what it might be i thought about asking you guys. Does this sound like an electric problem?

Any ideas that might help me or guide the mechanic that will work on it today?
