Default Heater problem (what's it look like? )

My daughter has a 2003 Galant and the heater does not blow heat just cool air. I have done a search on the subject, andmembers have said it could be anyone of these things. Low on coolant, faulty blend door, heater control valve, water shut motor, thermostat, fuses, and blower motor. I have counted out the blower cause that works fine. Fuses are fine. I'm now waiting for the car to cool so I can add more coolant cause there is none in the resivore. I would like to know what the heater shut off valve and the water shut motor look like and where are they exactly located. Also the blend door. I have taken the glove box off but don't have a clue as to what to look for. Your help would be greatly appreicated.

I just have a few questions??
Does the passanger side windshield fog up??
Is the floor on passanger side damp or wet?
Does it smell like antifreeze?
If non of the above then you are ok but on mine when my heater was blowing cold air, the heater core was damged and leaking fluid inside the car.
?
