I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Galant LS.

I am considering putting a new stereo system, and the tech has asked me if I have automatic climate control or manual, as they need a different part based on this information.

He was looking up the part he needs to install, and didn't give me the impression he was a Galant expert. He said he wasn't sure what the difference was from just looking at the controls. This was all over the phone.

My climate control system is a series of *****/dials, and doesn't have any sort of digital readout. Does this mean I have a manual climate control system, or is the tech correct and the differences are all internal?
