Default Installing an aftermarket radio

Sup dudes. I have an 01 Galant, the lowest model. Es I believe. Anyway, I bought a new radio (Sony Xplode) since my current radio has a disconnected wire or something. It randomly doesn't work. How do I go about installing the new radio? I was checking out the dash and there doesn't seem to be a way to just take out that cheap plastic wood trim where the radio is. Is this one of those pain in the *** cars that need to have the whole dash taken off to put in a radio?

Reason I'm asking is because I'd like to just put it in myself instead of paying 50 bucks for someone at Best buy. Thanks!

the plastic plate covering the hole thing pops right off but be careful because the clips can brake off then there is 4 screws holding the ac **** on. take those screws out and slide the hole ac thing down then in the back there is a screw that is for the ainti theft systen so take that out and dont lose it then the old head unit should jus slide out and put the new one in and put all the screws back in and of course put the plastic dash thingy back on
