I have a 2002 Galant ES. It was given to me in October. I have replaced MANY items. I was working with the center console today. The lights for the ashtray and cigarette light were burnt out. I was checking for electricity to the cigarette lighter with my tester light. I touched the tester to the center and the side (accidentally) of the lighter. I blew a fuse. Replaced it but now NONE of the instrument lights work. My right tail light is not working either. The brake light and blinker work. There is moisture in the light. The lens is cracked. Not sure what to do now. Thank you for your help.

 

Fixed. I noticed my front right marker light was out also. After looking thru some posts, I PULLED the fuses out underneath the hood and visually checked them. I checked them with my meter before while they were still plugged in. The fuse was blown.
