Default New owner of a 97 Galant, car needs work to be road-ready.

My 1994 Ford Escort LS was made in Mexico.
My 1997 Mitsubishi Galant ES was made in USA

My current transportation (94 Escort) has no heat or a/c, and my window crank is a pair of vice grips. The Galant has heat, a/c, and electric everything. When I acquired the Galant 3 days ago, it appeared to have minor front-end damage. Today I removed the front clip and the damage is much worse than I thought. The hard, thick fiberglass support beam across the front of the car, behind the bumper, is seriously smashed inward on the passenger side and has crushed the top and bottom of the brace that holds it in place. I thought I would just need to replace the headlight but this is becoming a seriously *expensive* project.

I'm not really asking a question I suppose, just looking for information and tips.

Thanx
