I need to buy new tires for my wife's galant. This is the first time I've bought tires for it and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to buy. I've found that this car takes a low-profile, performance tire making it a more difficult decision on what to buy, since I've never purchased this style of tire before. I've found the cost to be considerably higher for these tires as well as more choices and price levels to chose from. My biggest concern is finding a tire that has a good combination of performance and safety, along with a comfortable ride - all of which are important since this is my wife's car. To get all this without breaking the bank is my goal. If anyone has any advice to help my decision it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1. Any brand of tire to avoid?
2. Any other size options? (I always like to put wider tire on if I can)
