P0441

My Mother in Law just purchased a 2003 Galant...Automatic...and it had the CEL on with P0441 as the code...Evap. Emissions Control System Incorrect Purge Flow.....does anyone know what might cause this? Could it be the gas cap not on correctly?

Any help is greatly appreciated

gas cap, usually turns on when u put gas in without shutting the car off
