problem in the distributor
Hi guys,
I have a Galant 94 LS. Aparently I have a problem in the distributor. The engine doesn't start. There is no high voltage coming out from the coil. The electrician who checked the problem found that there is not square signal at the inputs of the coil and said that the problem was in the distributor. I removed the distributor to check its parts. Below the rotor, there is a piece like a plate with a connector with 6 terminals. What is it? Could the problem be in there? It is possible to test it? How? Also, I checked the coil and I got 0.9 ohms in its terminals? Are this values correct?
Thank you.
