Default Replace driver side RearView Mirror

Hi,

I drive a Mitsubishi Galant 2010 FE.
The driver side rear view mirror broke, so wanted to get it replaced. I learnt that I have to the interior front door panel to get the mirror fixed. (to connect the wires).

I have not been successful in removing the door panels. Can any of you here, help me with the step by step process to remove the driver side front door panel.

regards
Prathap Chander.S.

Take the door panel off and remove the three nuts that hold the mirror to the door. There isn't much to it. If you dented the mounts to the mirror, you may have to shim it with washers to get the part to sit straight. You need a screwdriver and a door pad tool along with a metric socket set.

If you find a mirror which may be plateful , You are going to have to get it painted the paint code is on the door jam , However if the parts yard don,t have it go to the dealer and he will order a new one with the correct color, good luck..
