sound system in car standart places

sound system in car standart places
Hello,
can you tell me is it worth to place average audio system in standart galant speaker places or in custom ones? And maybe someone of you has measurements of them?
I saw placs for speakers in:
front doors (13cm diameter?),
tweeters in front,
near the trunk (how that place is called?) 2 16cm holes and one a bit larger i think, for subwoofer.
That's all. Am i correct?
My car is 1997.10 European version Galant.
