Okay so, i just got this car preowned. Mitsubishi Galant 2000 ES. I take the stereo out and put one i bought into it. A forgot to ground the wire and i blew a fuse, no biggie. I replaced the 2 10's with 2 20's. I read that that is fine, becuase it still wont reach past 10.

My stereo now works, but cant seem to keep the settings i programed on it.

But the biggest thing is now my windshield whipers ON HIGH are just as slow as mid. And my turn signals and hazards wont work.

I read in Mitsubishi Galant 1994-2003: Haynes Repair Manual this:
"On 1999 and later models the turn signals and hazard flashers are controlled by the ETACS-ECU and small electronic moduel incoporated into the switch."

Im not sure what that means or what to do... Anyone help me out? Thanks so much.

 

Hey, How you doing? I have a same problem with my car. My winshield wiper do not work on slow and medium speed. Only on high but move at med speed. Some say its cause of new radio. I am also looking for help on. it. If you find out something tell me. If I do I will let you know. Peace. TC
