Default 2000 Galant Turn Signal Switch

Hi Everyone, this is my first post here. I tried searching but could not find what I was looking for.

I have a 2000 Galant that I'm working on where the turn signal switch is bad. There's a recall for it, but as luck would have it, not for this model.

Anyway, can anyone confirm if I need to remove the steering wheel to replace this switch?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

I don't think you need to remove the wheel, but even if you do it shouldn't be all that hard. You can just go rent a puller at autozone or something. They even sell the switch.
