just got a 2003 galant from a dealer, and there is a humming and grinding sound from the rear. is it the wheel bearings?! the car has only 23000 miles on it, so could it be the bearings? or it is something else. also at higher speeds the ride gets shaky! please advise!

 

Have you checked the TSBs?

 

sorry… you have to excuse my incompetence in decoding your technical knowhow and jargon. What would the TSB's mean?

 

If you havent fixed it yet it could be the wheel bearing or your rear brakes could need to be replaced
