Default 2008 lancer GTS LINT PROBLEM

I just got a 08 lancer gts and it is full of lint on the seats already. Anyone also have the same problem, if so, do you know of any sprays I can put on to prevent this instead of buying those rolling tape thingys that you use for clothes?

The tape roller seems to work the best for me I do have an idea though, I know there are furniture stores that sell stain and water proofing sprays. I haven’t used any and do not know if it would correct the issue or make an even bigger problem.

A lint brush or roller should do the trick...

here's a fast fix, go to a local tuner shop and ask for a leather package...like 1500 bux for custom seats and some dash/door covering. SWIFT Motorsports in Norwich, CT does it..and i think it's 250 per seat extra for heated, and 250 per seat for message.

Isnt that like... swatting flys with a Buick? Seems like a lot to go through to keep lint off ones seats. Besides... Lancers with leather is like a Tercel with a 454.

Put a towel over it for the mean time. It will eventually wear down and the soft material will go away.
