I have 2008 Lancer and I noticed that there is no key hole on my trunk.

I noticed with other 08 Lancer they have a Key Hole but not all of them. I am talking aboutall 08 model Lancer

My 08 Lancer is 100% made in Japan but I prefer without a key hole.

Can someone explain it to me why some 08 Lancer has a key hole and others don't? thanks

 

The ones with the FAST key system don't need a key hole because all you have to do is touch the button on the deck lidto open it. The cheaper Lancers with the regular key need a key hole.

 

Sorry friend I have a DE no FAST Key.

 

I have an ES and no key hole.

 

I have a GTS, no FAST key and no key hole

 

I found the answer. Non have a key hole. The ones with the FAST key have a button on the deck lid. All others have nothing.
