Hi guys!
I have a 2009 Lancer SE and my fuel tank is badly rusted... Up here in Canada, those tanks are a bit hard to find...
I found an OEM one that come from a crashed 2017 FWD model.
But when I look on the Mitsubishi part numbering, they give different numbers for the 2009 and 2017 tanks.

Does anyone know if the 2017 will fit properly on my 2009? Do you know what is the difference between both years?

Is you lancer the evo 10 shape or the evo 9 shape? Is the SE a AWD ?

 

Hi, my Lancer is the last gen like the Evo 10. It is FWD with the 2.0L 4B11
The fuel tank I'd like to buy is from the same model, same engine, also FWD but 2017.
For a dark reason, even if the body is the same, they have a different tank part number!
