Default Brand New Car - Serious Problem???

Ive only had my car for baaaarely a month and Im thinking that something is reeeeally wrong. *or maybe Im just hella paranoid* Anywho - when Im driving it, 9 outta 10 times if I hit a bump in the road or go over railroad tracks or even when I turn at times, I here this "popping" noise. Its kinda like if something were to dent your car but then the dent pops right back out. Something like that. I hear it in the front, usually on the left side, but it has happened on the right too. I can, more or less, "feel" it on the left. Normally Id just take it over to the dealership to get looked at, but I dont get off of work until an hour after the mechanics leave AND they aren't there on Saturday! *bastards* [sm=smiley15.gif] So - can anyone tell me whether or not this is a serious problem or if it can wait a week or so???? Im gonna be traveling outta town this weekend though and I dont wanna screw anything up worse than it could already be. So yeah... advice/opinions/comments are greatly appreciated!

hey dude,

firstly you need to post what model car you have

I am thinking that it is the shock absorbers in the front, they are knocking

I have had similar problems with my CK model Lancerl, in the rear

*FYI - I'm not a dude*

But anywhoo - I thought I did that, so my bad. But its a 2006 ES Lancer. How "bad" is this little problem I'm having? Or better yet, what needs to be done in order for that god awful noise to stop?
