changing the 08 shift knob

Default changing the 08 shift ****

I have a CVT transmission, and I want to change the **** to a more appealing custom one, but im not sure if I just twist like on some cars. Does anyone know exactly how to take it off (no i didnt try twisting it just yet, I want to make sure thats how its done befor I go ahead and go through with it.)

You can't the... shift **** on the stick you can but not the paddle shifter.

Shift **** you can buy a skunk shift **** replacement

Just twist counter clock wise and and install a new one if you have a manual transmission. There are different kinds but all the samein putting it on the stick.

place the black plastic tip on the stick first. choose the one that will fit and turn it like a nut... clock wise.then put the aftermarketshift **** on the black plastic make sureit doesn't move around if it does put a little black tape around it to make sure it is tight and shift **** doesn't move then put the 3 small screws to tighten the ****, use I think an Allen wrench it comes with ****.

then put the **** cover after you tighten the screws then your done.

CVT is the transmission not the type of transmission like manual or Automatic. cvt eliminates gear whip or neck whip if I call it.
