Default CVT/Tiptronic question

Alright, this may be a dumb question, but I was wondering if, when you are using either the CVT or the tiptronic modes of a transmission, you are supposed to let off the gas between shifts, like you would in a manual.

no. it's still an automatic.

there is no clutch my friend. if you see a gas pedal, breaks and clutch then then you drive it like a manual.

On the CVT you just choose the the gear by using the paddle shifter.

That's right !, i tendto drive my GTS like a manual as well but i think the way its supposed to go is; you just gotta keep you foot on it and choose your gears like BEAT says.
