Sebs right, the AC and its components arent even PRODUCED my Mitsu. all subsystems are usually sub-contracted parts from other places.

 

New Car Warranty Breakdown:

10yr/100,000mile powertrain : Anything underhood that pertains to the operation of the vehicle EXCEPT clutch and related parts. Brake pads, batteries,and tires are covered for first year. Lines, hoses, fuses, relays covered for 10yrs.

5yr/60,000 bumper to bumper : This covers EVERYTHING not in the powertrain. Radio, light bulbs, trim panels that fade or break, seat covers damaged that are not owners fault.

7yr/100,000 anti rust/corrsion warranty : Cover the frame and paint from paint fade, frame rust, corrosion of any body part, etc.

 

**** happens. buy a ford...then you WILL have somethen to bitch about.

actually, mitsu heavy industry makes MOST of their HVAC systems (but not all).

 

Wow all I have to say is better you than me of course who is to say you are telling the truth? If I ran a scion or honda dealership how hard would it be to join a fourm of an opposing auto brand and then make up an elaberate story to try to disrupt a new modle that just has more appeal at the time. I punched the lights on a 08 Lancer and they are really strong made of high strength plastic the sales manager made me do it lol.

Thedead give away is this guy has no positive posts on this site, there must have been some reason he bought the car no one buys a carthat they have nothing positive to say they liked about it, what made you buy the car O thats right you don't own it. In the test drive many of these problems your speaking of would have been apparent also the dealership does a huge inspection of the vehicle before it is even allowed to go on sale I know because when I bought mine I had to wait two days for them to take the plastic off and check everything andhow much do you want to bet they check the AC in that inspection. As you said the AC didn't work at all when you first got it andthey would have allready checked it and fixed it before you were ever even able totest driveit if that were the case.

nothing wrong with (my)ford. my second car was a 2003 mustang, after my civic. i loved my civic, i love imports but i got a good deal on the mustang. i was sketchy at first about getting a domestic but i ran 60,000 into that stang and the only thing i did was replace the fluids. had no problems with it.

 

well i know plenty of people that hate their fords...and ford fanatics that are half stupid and make excuses for all the problems lol.
