Default LANCER???

yo peeps im new to this car deal...im 16 and lookin for a new ride...ive checked out the eclipse GST but i cant seem to find a reasonably priced one....so now im lookin around at the lancers, i have a few questions too. 1st of, are any models turbo? second off, how old are they? how many horse power?
Basically, what are the stats of the lancer and would it be a good buy for a reasonable price?

1st. the only turbo models are the Evo's n they cost about 30k
2nd. Depends wat model ur Lancer is gonna be, ES n regular carry bout 120-30....OZ Rally carry bout 160hp

I think the 04' Lancer come wit 140 stock...thats ES thru OZ, n the Ralliart Edition comes wit 160...not sure tho, check www.mitsubishimotors.com for engine stats.

The Ralliart Lancer is 162 hp and 164 torque (stock). Road Race Motorsports makes a turbo and alot of other go fast goodie for that car. 1st year for Ra's is 2004. You can get a very fast Lancer this way without paying EVO insurance rates etc.

2HP doesnt count as more HP anyway you look at it. The auto tranny will lose more power to the wheels for sure and maybe it requires the ECU to do something differently i have know idea. But 162hp is the same as 160 if you ask me lol

not true !

the GSR's come turbo > 4G93T

I dunno where you are located, but where I am (Trinidad), the JDM spec Lancers do have this option > the CM5A models

Here in the states the only turbo model is the EVO. a GSR is an EVO and it has a 4G63. hense where Evolution GSR is all over the EVO world. im not sure if over there it is diff. but I dont think so. either way I havent seen a 4G93 turbo from the factory you might be reffering to the 4G63. What is untrue is the OZ i dont think was 160HP I think only the RA (rally Art) is 160 in 05 models
