You need a need cam shaft position sensor support. Part # 1865A128.

TSB-07-11-001
The engine may be hard or impossible to start and MFI DTC P0335 and possibly P0340 may be
stored due to abnormal wear to the camshaft position sensor support. Oil grooves have been added
to the camshaft position sensor support to improve lubrication.
If a customer has a vehicle with the above condition, replace the camshaft position sensor support
with the new part listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.

..is that TSB for the '08 lancer ? i have had a "hard start" problem twice on my gts.

had to push down on the gas pedal to get it to start.

i only have 2000 miles , so i do not think anything is "worn" yet.

seemsto bemore likely an electronic or ecm problem.

I never had any problem when I start my car (Manual)
It only happened to me twice since I bought my car 8 months ago.

I just didn't step on the clutch all the way down so the car was a little hesitant to start. Sometimesmy feet is just too lazy to push down on the Clutch but not really acar issue it is adriver issue on my side.

If your car is Automatic you havean issue
But I have an old 1999 Mirage DE Coupe with 130,000 on it No problems since I got it and even traded ITin with 08 Lancer.

I even with almost no front breaks on it. it was totally worn out but still didn't give me issues with myOld Mirage.
