If you have a problem with your 2008 Lancer when starting your Car?

I won't to know if this is a very common problem on the 2008 Lancer. I don't want my 08 Lancer ES to have the same problem.

 

I do have a problem with mine. After I start it, the RPM's drop really low and the car almost dies, then it goes really high then it is fine. I have taken it to the dealership 3 times and they cannot find the problem. They say nothing comes up on the codes. The last time I took it the service manager said it is somethign with the internal computer and that Mitsubish is working on software to fix it. Not sure if this is the same problem you are having.

 

there is a software update available to deal with this issue.

I am having same problem with my 2008 1.5L Auto, i went to dealers but they can not spot the issue,and i even showed them the two links from bras_33 post but they had no idea what is it about.

BEAT you said issue resolve, but how? its not software issue as they are saying my software is up to date.

please help guys?
