Default Looking a 2004 Sportback Ralliart

I am planning on looking at a 2004 Lancer Sportback Ralliart to replace my Galant. It is in excellent condition with 90K miles. The owners are **** about maintenance which is good. The thing is they are asking $6900 which I think is high even though this is a one year car and the Ralliart version is rare. It is a very nice car but for 7K I can probably get a lower mile Galant or something else. Is this a fair price or am I just cheap?

Well since nobody posted, I'll just post a follow up. Went and looked at the car. Very nice with only a small scratch or two on the paint. Interior looks perfect. Ended up buying the car for $5700. That is right at what Edmunds said was private party value. It is a very nice ride. Seats are very comfortable and definitely more power than my 01 Galant. Way more than my Accord wagon and more room too. Hope it will last a while.

Congratulations. I am the original owner of one of this. I love this car very much. Good luck and I wish you to have absolutely no problems with it.

Do you still have this vehicle? I'm looking for a cheap car and found one for 1900 with 200k miles. Any tips on what to look for on this car? Never owned a Mitsubishi before, thanks.
