Please Help: What is this Part?

Let's play a game! Just kidding. I am trying to figure out what this part is on my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer DE (Boring, I know). I ask because there is fluid below it and my clutch engages only when the pedal is REALLY CLOSE to the floor. I would like to replace it, but I don't know what to call it in order to purchase.
