Just purchased my 03 OZ Rally on Monday and LOVE driving it. I did notice today that there are litteraly no wires running from the trunk connectors into the speakers. I didn't have time to take them apart and look to see if the speakers had a connector on them already (so I won't have to buy new speakers right away) so I was just curious if the speaker connection is actually up inside of the speaker cover or should they be closer to the magnet like on others?? I will be taking it apart in a couple days anyways if I don't get an answer but it would save a lot of time if I knew for sure.

It should be the same with otherspeakers - on the magnet. the new 2008 lancer all speakers are on the door except for sub-woofer can be found in the trunk

 

Actually had the time to take them apart today and turns out that the plug is actually ontop of the speakers near the cone so now I get to troubleshoot and find out why they dont work...
