I just regsitered for this forum, it looks like a lot of great folks and information. My son is in town with his 2002 Lancer. His heater/defroster fan was making a lot of noise and quit working. I suspect it may be bad.

I want to try replacing it myself, but was unable to find any repair manuals for the Lancer. Do they exist?

If not, has anyone done this repair and if so, is it difficult to get to the fan to replace it? I haven't had a chance to look at the car yet, but my son says the fan is behind the glove box.

I did a search but didn't find anything related to this topic for the Lancer.
