Default SRS Light-Please HELP!!!

Just bought a 03 Lancer w/92000 miles. 3 weeks later the SRS light comes on. It's not on all the time.It will go out when I turn the wheel to the 2 o'clock position, but comesback on at 12. I thought clock spring??? However, thehorn works when light is on.Car was really dirty inside. Don't know if contacts are dirty??? Sprayed contact cleaner between wheel and column. Prior to this happening noticed some weird sounds like the turnsignals were on.I think that may have been the keyless entry.I was also wondering if theSRSsensor could have beendamaged when they changed the all thebelts. I know they went through the wheel well and took off the covers. I don't know if the sensor is visible from there? Please help. Dealer wants 105 to diagnose/read the codes. Then who knows what to fix.

Default RE: SRS Light-Please HELP!!!

it more than likely is still your clock spring. There could be a faulty spot in the wound coil that is creating an open in the circuit. We have replaced a couple for both SRS lights and for noises.
