Default vacuum gauge

Hey, I got a 2006 Lancer Ralliart, and I got the optional gauge package factory installed. It comes with a voltage, oil temp., and a vacuum gauge. Now I want to know what the vacuum gauge measures, and why it has a range from 0 to -1.0. as opposed to normal vacuum gauges which range from 0 to 30.

It IS a normal vacuum gauge except that i measures in BAR. What you're used to seeing is In/Hg or inches of vacuum. Once you get used to the conversion, you'll get used to it.
