Weird Ice Forming on Lancer

Default Weird Ice Forming on Lancer

I have a 2008 Lancer and everytime it ices or we get a slight snow, this forms on the hood....anyone know why??

Has anyone else experienced this?

the places where there is no ice are where the hood is "warmer".

open the hood and look at the inside of hood. you will see why you have the strange patterns.

I thought of that, but it hasn't been ran in a couple days...so it should be all around the same temp. I looked under the hood but didn't see anything that looked like that pattern.

Yap got the same ice formation on my hood.
