Default 1.6 Mirage 1992

Hello,

since i searched trough google many times and don't seem to find any "story" matching mine, i doubt there are any threads about this.

I have bought this car a couple of months ago, due to insurance things i only got to start driving it friday. When i bought it i have driven is and had never noticed any problem. I went on vacation with it past weekend and noticed that my gears were acting "weird".
1050km's later now, everything seems to work fine except, switching gears from first to second, my clutch gets harder to push in on approximatly 1cm of the floor. In the beginning i tought i was pushing it to the floor and the gearbox (sometimes) made... - the not to nice sound- (cogs to cogs...). Since i push it to the floor i think it doesn't happen anymore.

Is it possible my gearbox doesn't have enough oil or anything like that? Or is it most likely close to breaking down?
In any way, i'm carpenter so ill have to bring it back to the garage, i would just like to know what i can expect from this. Also the gears go smoother than they used to go after picking up the car....?

Thanks in advance!
Greetings

thats a clutch issue. Depending cable or hydraulic it may be a matter of adjusting pedal correctly.
Or adjust/ replace cable, or bleed/ replace cylinders.
Id expect an hours work + parts. From a mechanic.
